Approaches and level of analysis of the physical demonstration of professional soccer players. Level 2 (part 9).

We'll comment firstly the data obtained from a professional spanish soccer player (who suffered from chronic injury pain in both knees, LCA ...) during a preseason training week, related with the total number of impacts over 5G demonstrated, and compared with the data obtained during two friendly games in the same period.
You will see the evolution during that week, and it's possible relationship with the accumulation of articular load that it took him to the point of having to stop training during one of the sessions.
This parameter (total number of impacts) it's considered to be directly related with the "volume" of articular load supported by the player, so it's specially important in those players who has suffered from different articular pain/injury, specially those who has been operated from any articular problem, like LCA, meniscus, etc.

As always, once that we know the possible relationship expressed here, the problem arise when we have to manage diary with this short of info, specially when we are talking about a team sport, with collective methodology training ... (but this is another issue).

Hope you find it interesting.
Stay tunned for the next post (in which we talk about the number of impacts related with the number of accelerations ...).
