Approaches and level of analysis of the physical demonstration of professional soccer players. Level 2 (part 10).

We continue with the same data of a spanish professional soccer player who suffered a chronic knee injury.
In the last post we analyze the volume related with the articular load, using the total number of impacts over 5G. In today's post we focus on other variable: the number of impacts over 5G divided by the number of accelerations over 1 m/s/s. Remember that while impacts are measured by the 100Hz triaxial accelerometer of the GPS system, the number of accelerations are measured by the 1 Hz GPS itself. Logically the precision of a 1 Hz GPS system it is not the same as the actual 5 - 10 Hz GPS systems.
This metric is in a way, a reflex of the "intensity" of the deceleration theoretically related with the acceleration measured. Remember that in that moment (2007) it was not possible to obtain the data of the decelerations by the software I were using.
